About Me

Hello! I’ve worked in education in the US, Japan, and Mongolia. I’m currently a Master’s Degree candidate in International Education Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey.

After I finished my Bachelor’s in English at the University of Mary Washington, I was admitted to the JET Program and taught English in Miyakonojo, Japan.

I served with the Peace Corps in Choir, Mongolia from 2015-2017 and spent two more years teaching and as a secondary school Principal in Ulaanbaatar.

Now, I’m building my skills in International Education Management in order to obtain a position in program administration, working on agreements between institutions in the US and those abroad.

My advising philosophy is that every student is different and the best thing we can do for them is make sure they are well-informed to make their own decisions about their learning.
